Founders Lester and Lillian Kronfeld opened their first store in 1948 and proved they had the perfect formula for success: Lester had the business savvy and the gift of gab with customers and Lilly had the taste level, passion for fashion and energy second to none. Together they established unique, long lasting relationships with thousands of customers and built the Lester's brand into the go-to destination for fashion for the entire family.
Now their children, Sheri and Perry Schorr, along with the nephew Barry Cohen have expanded the business to serve customers all over the tri-state area. Sheri, raised in the business and with fashion in her blood, is the Fashion Director and ensures that Lester's merchandise reflects the hottest trends and the best brands. Perry and Barry run the company and have spearheaded continued growth for the last 20 years.
